Mini Wave - Anybody build me one for CASH ?

Mini Wave - Anybody build me one for CASH ?

2006-11-15 by Rt.Hon.Beerma§ter™

Hi List,

I'm on the lookout for MOTM format MiniWaves ( having just been outbid
on Gerts Ebay lot ! Bugger ! )

Is there anyone on this list that can make a few for me ? Money
waiting for anyone that has the talent and patients.

Email me on: Lester@...

( of course if anyone has one ready made that they want to sell I'd
give a good price on it too ! )

Thanks

Lester

Beer,

Don't forget that Modcan makes the Miniwave in MOTM format now:

Those miniwaves sold for an insane amount of money.

You can get a miniwave assembled from blacet for $239.
Schaeffer/fpe can make a motm front panel (check the
modularsynthpanels group for the file). And
Scott/bridechamber.com sells brackets.

It shouldnt be too hard to just do the conversion
yourself.

That's pretty. Wouldn't match the rest of my MOTM modules though...

Doug

Stay tuned for something new about stooge panels... ;)

Builders, feel free to use my FPE panel design for the Miniwave. The
picture shows the 10-position thumb wheel that mine use, but the panel
as designed has a 1/4" hole for the A/B switch if you don't have the
Hylander 10 PROM expansion. (I had to cut and file that rectangular
hole.) I like this design because it puts the LED's next to the pots
that control them. I used special LED's with chrome bezels that mount
in 1/4 inch holes, and they look quite nice. (I changed all the LED's
three times before I was satisfied.)

If you don't like my design, you can find plenty of others on Modular
Synth Panels.

ps the modcan (and wiard) miniwaves have a built-in driver
oscillator, which explains some of the extra cost.

the blacet ones don't.
