Will it be possible to address each wave individually so that a daugter board with individual outs could be made? Mike

No, because you would need 32 audio DACs + 32 analog filters and that board would cost $300 more and be big. Paul S. ----- Original Message -----

Poopies. I understand, but still poopies. I was just listening to the demos again and thought drive at LFO speed and create all kinds of atrociousness :) --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, "Paul Schreiber" <synth1@...> wrote: > > No, because you would need 32 audio DACs + 32 analog filters and that board

Forgive my stupid question, but what is the 520? I can't discover such a thing on the synthtech site, only the 510.... --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, "Mike Marsh" <michaelmarsh@...> wrote:

Speaking of DACs. My probably unreasonable wish list has long included an MOTM format PCI audio interface like the RME HDSP. http://www.rme-audio.com/english/hdsp/cardpci.htm As a "software guy" (the type Paul curses every time he must change his web site) I may be getting the question wrong, but what about separating the DAC/ADC from the Audio Engine, and using some other kind of data interconnection/bus for the digital modules? I'm not so interested in a digital module because I'm convinced I can do any of it that I like with a general purpose computer, which also affords me a big screen, large library of support software, relatively large hard disk, etc., etc.. What I'd definitely pay serious bucks for is a MOTM-quality, 1U, 2 or 4 channel, USB<->(audio, CV) interface. I'm happy to work around the latency/jitter issues with USB. Of course, if you want to avoid USB, as RME did (above), I'm happy to use a PCI card instead, but I have a feeling that's a fair bit more work. (jfm3) P.S. Yes, you will have to wait until the guild meeting is over before I fix your MySQL database. ;)

'evening all-- Ah, the cloud generator. I've not been buying much MOTM recently, I freely admit, but when that one comes up, I'll most certainly be in line. It seems a bit of a one-trick pony, in a way, but I happen to like that particular trick, for some reason... Frank -----Original Message----- ... I actually decided to "take the plunge" and get into MOTM specifically for this module. Really looking forward to it!

The MOTM-650 user guide refers to a "menu chart" but I have not been able to find such a beast. Does this actually exist? Has someone created one? Do I need to create my own?

Does not yet exist. Somebody make a nice PDF one so I can post it (use Visio or such). Paul S. ----- Original Message -----

So, is someone working on this or planning to? I don't want to start and find out someone else did it. Anyone want to help? I assume this is mapping out the full menu structure and options. I've already started a drawing, so I guess I've volunteered. I should have something in a week. I'll post to the group when it's ready.

>Does not yet exist. Somebody make a nice PDF one so I can post it >(use Visio or such). OK, that didn't take as long as I thought it would. Here is my take of the MOTM-650 menus: http://www.tellun.com/motm/MOTM-650_Menu_Chart.pdf Send email if you notice any mistakes and I'll try to correct them. Hey Paul, do I get a free module for this?

Nice chart, thanks for doing it. I think Scott has *lots* of modules already :) Paul S. ----- Original Message -----
