[motm] "Avril Pad 1" patch?

[motm] "Avril Pad 1" patch?

2006-08-22 by Erik Olson

Hello,

Does anyone have any idea what modules were used to create the "Avril Pad 1"
patch that there's an mp3 of posted in the Files section of the user group?
I love atmospheric pads like that and am interested in figureing out what
went into creating it.

Thanks for the help!

This was not made with an MOTM. See message 18619 - the poster wanted
to know how to recreate this patch with MOTM, but as I recall no one
really answered...

Sounds to me like a fairly simple VCO-VCF-VCA patch with some filter
modulation from an EG and maybe an LFO, plus a good bit of delay and maybe a
little chorusing. The trick to doing it with an MOTM is that you'd need a
separate set of modules for each note in the chord. Modulars are not
efficient tools for polyphony...

Anyone else have any guesses?
