schedule..?

schedule..?

1999-12-06 by Paul & Alleyne

hello,
hope you're all enjoying trouble free low frequency oscillations - due to a
slight undersight on my part i won't be getting mine till the end of the
week...

meanwhile did i say schedule..? i can't think of a better word, maybe "plot"
is more favourable
anyway,
as i've currently got onelist mail spread across three computers, and i'm
crap, i've forgotten what's next on the list (another good word) in terms of
modules, what i have is:

#440 LPF - $179 kit - ready after xmas..?
#??? VCLag - $125 kit - ready after xmas
#??? VC Phaser ?
#??? Triple Pre-Amp ?
#??? Mixer ?
#??? Sequencer ?
#??? Micro VCO ?

cheers

I suppose it's inevitiable: 2 days after a new module ships, the chant of
"More...More...More..." is heard. :)

Correct. Shipping around Jan 12th. The front panels are almost done. The pcb
layout starts next week.
But, the pcb shop is closed from the 20th to Jan 4th.

No number assigned, but *probably* MOTM-830. Kit price after
Barlow/Hendry/Bradley got hold of it
more like $139.

> #??? VC Phaser ?

April. About $289 kit: it has a boatload of parts!

Preamp/mixer/env follower follow after the '440 & VC lag. Feb-March.

> #??? Sequencer ?

August.

> #??? Micro VCO ?

April/May. Since this is a simpler module, may come before the phaser.

* Will there be some pictures of these new modules on the Synthtech site
before they ship, so that we can see what features they have?

* Just out of necessity we are going to need a Multiples module soon
(preferably 1U wide). Is anything happening in that area?

did i mention envelope follower..? where did that one slip in..?
anyway, not meaning to hassle while Paul's in out and out Santa mode - i
just wanted to know what the future of my MOTM was looking like (bloody huge
by the sound of it - better get that second case built over xmas). meanwhile
a short search for "MOTM" on alta vista revealed Bristol University's
"Molecule Of The Month", kind of interesting i suppose.

1) the modules are heavily discussed and debated here! Dave Bradley usually
has a rough rendering
of the panels.

2) mults will come as well.
