The mistakenly-named (can they count over there?) "Hexagonal Knobs" at Radio
Shack are 'nearly' identical with the major difference being a slotted
set-screw as opposed to the Allen-key set-screw.

From a distance they look quite similar, from the pocket book they look much
better (maybe $2.70 for 4 instead of $1.50 each).

But the Radio Shaft ones aren't near the quality of the MOTM ones.
I outfitted my SCI Pro-One with the more expensive MOTM knobs and
it was worth the extra money. The MOTM ones look and feel much better
than the RS ones and they are solid whereas the RS are hollow.

That's a good point Cary. I have used the RS shack knobs before (replacing
an even cheaper PAiA knob set). You can break them when tightening (unlike
the MOTM knobs which are "Larry the mad torquer" proof). However, if you
are careful, you can get good service from the RS knobs.

Like you, I think the MOTM grade knobs are worth the extra bucks.

Where can I locate the exact same types of knobs used in the motm modules
(that is... unless this is a hush-hush issue). Working on a sequencer, and
would like it to fit in with the MOTM stuff.
