I got bumped on my bike and have been in the hospital for 4 days. Just got home. Damage: fractured T1 vertebrae (no neurological damage), 5 broken ribd, broken collar bone, concussion and bruise on the back of my head, and a bruiesed kidney. Some people drive like complete idiots so beware out there. THe bright side: mre down time for MOTOM :) Mike

Yikes!!! Geez, Mike, please get well soon! About 8 years ago I really took a slam on my skateboard (yes, I am too old for such toys, yet I still do it...) and my wife took me to the doctor. She gave me a battery of neurological tests that I don't think I could've passed on a good day. Needless to say, everyone and their mom was "observing" me for the next couple of weeks. Being one of - oh, how can I put this? - somewhat eccentric behavior anyway, people were asking me if I was alright or would I like to lie down. Come to think of it, not once did anyone simply offer me a drink! Do rest, Mike! Find a patch that stimulates bone repair. I'll bet that's not in the book... And I think it's some kind of low frequency AC waveform. A nice square wave might be just the thing.
