more rack pics

my adventures in silly modular rack enclosures continue. i've been 
working on my welding and design skills and built the following rack last 
week:

i'm very pleased with the height and stability of the base. it weighs 
around 50lbs and doesn't go anywhere when plugging in cables.

it's now awaiting the wood exterior.

Chrome plate that baby (assuming it's steel and not aluminum)

If it's aluminum polish and anodize it.

Looks great!

I'd think about casters too.

thx ;) actually, it's going to have a swirl brush finish unless i make 
friends with someone who's got a chrome plater that can handle something 
that size.

i'll chrome plate the next one ;)
