Off the top of my head, I can think of these electronic music LPs that
never made it to CD:



"Black Mass by Lucifer" by Mort Garson

"Elements" and "Classical Pieces" by Mychael Danna

"The Andromeda Strain" by Gil Melle (often a hexagonal 'disc'!)

"Beyond the Sun" and "The Four Seasons" by Patrick Gleeson, using the
Emu Modular and Synclavier, respectively.

"The Electronic Messiah" (Carlos-style rendition of the Messiah with a
real human choir)

"Sound Creature" by Isao Tomita (his 'secrets of synthesis' album); most
other Tomita has been released on CD, but not necessarily in Europe or
The States.

"The Interstellar Suite" by Amin Bhatia is good and I hear had a limited
CD release.



I'm sure there's a bunch more but these are all LPs that I prized highly
and are generally hard to find.

Some of Subotnic's works have been released on DVD recently, such as
"Volume 1 - Electronic Works" which features Touch, A Sky of Cloudless
Sulfur, and Gestures, along with interviews with Subotnic. The nice
thing about the DVDs is that there are wonderful Dolby Digital surround
mixes (and anyone with a Creative Labs sound card can bump them down to
a reasonable 2-channel mix from the DVDs).

Anything with Morton Subotnick tickles my fancy, especially the LP
Touch. There is also a 
current rerelease of the Silver Apples second LP entitled Contact
available on LP.
