MOTM-320 Waveshaper

Just so there is no "I thought it did it a different way!" emails..... A *very cheesy* GIF file of the effect the VC waveshape has on the '320 SAW wave is at www.synthtech.com/demo Just so there is no confusion: the SHAPE control does the following: a) For TRI, no effect b) for SINE, it goes from a "humpy" shape to a normal sine to a "peaky" shape c) for SAW, it goes from positive-going Saw to TRI at 1/2 amplitude and with a DC offset to a negative Saw d) for PULSE, it goes from 0 to 100% duty cycle Mainly to point out, the SAW *does not* vary the leading/falling edge rates at a constant frequency. This is a non-trival thing to do, and anyway the VC Lag on LIN mode can convert the PULSE to this type of waveform (although the controls between the two are interactive). Paul S.
