hello all,
thanks to charles stella and 'ac' (currently lurking - but i know him) i got
the schematics
i seemed to have blown one half of a C4558 op amp - so i just pulled it,
fitted a socket and tried an OP275 (i had one knocking around)
and apart from a re-calibration, all seems to be back to normal (apart from
my custom power distribution buss seems to be wired backwards)

can i smell smoke..?
