MOTM Music

2005-11-20 by Koos Fockens

Appart from the music I found via the website of Synthtech, I am quite curious of MP3 format
tracks or even sound samples from MOTM modulars that some of you guys have made.
Does anyone host any of their creations on a website? Seeing all these wonderful modulars is
one thing, but that is only one side of the passion, what about the sound. What have you
created? Perhaps a group or chapter on that can be dedicated on this forum? :-)

a) be sure to check out *all* the demos by going here directly:

www.synthtech.com/demo

b) As far as 'commercial' released music, you can get a good dose from Robert
Rich (www.robertrich.com) and Dave Fulton (www.hypnos.com). All good MOTMers are
required to have Robert's 3 MOTM CDs "Bestiary", Outpost" and "Lithosphere" and
then Dave's "The Most Distant Point Known" and "Imprint". :)

If you have cable/DirectTV, you can hear MOTM every week as the backing
soundtrack to the cartoon "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" (Drew
Neuman).

There are some "MOTM snippets" and effects on Charles Stella's 'Wax Poetic' CD
"The Nublu Sessions".

Did I miss anyone?

I can still make copies of my CD-R "absolute Truth" - all MOTM. Ten
bucks includes shipping. Hurry they're going fast: I already sold two
of them...

:)

Seriously, if you're interested email me at

Please do not forget the excellent Roy Harter CD, "Lover of Beauty and
Coffe Breath".
I presume there is some MOTM noise on that one.

The CD was kindly included with my last MOTM shipment.

Ciao,
