Stooge Stuff

2005-11-05 by paulhaneberg

Dave Bradley (Stooge Moe) and I have been working on the
reorganization of Stooge Industries. There have been a few inquiries
about the status of the stooge product line and how to make a purchase.

For the time being, I will accept orders for the products listed below
as being in stock. Payment will be to my Paypal Account. This is
temporary. Dave and I will be working on getting a new Stooge Site up
and running with a more convenient way to purchase, possibly with a
shopping cart.

Brackets:

All brackets are in stock except for the 3 hole short bracket. We
will let everyone know when these are back in stock. We may continue
to get these from the same vendor that Larry was using or we may get
them from a vendor in my area.

Flat Rails:

There are some flat rails in stock, but not a lot. We will be
ordering these as well.

End Caps:

These are out of stock at the moment. Once again, we will get these
ordered as soon as we get the issue of the metal vendor decided.

Cables:

There are some cable issues still being sorted out from the last order.
Dave is working hard to get this straightened out.

In the future we will decide on some standard cables which we will
keep in stock. That means you won't have to wait months for your
cables unless you want them customized. Custom cables will still be
done probably twice a year.

Stooge Panels:

We still intend to do a run of panels once we get everything else
sorted out. In addition, we are looking at other methods of making
panels. In the future we hope to have the means to take panel orders
anytime of year and ship them out within a week or two while still
maintaining Stooge Quality.

Other Stooge Stuff:

We are still working to sort out all of Larry's special projects.
These may or may not be continued as Stooge Products, but we will make
sure that any project that Larry started for someone will get
completed. If Larry was working on something for you and you have not
contacted us yet, please email either Dave or myself.

Shipping:

At least in the immediate future, all Stooge Products will ship from
my business in SE Indiana, the same location where most Synth Tech
modules are kitted and shipped. Unless you request otherwise, all US
shipments will be by UPS Ground. All international shipments,
including Canada, will be by USPS Airmail.

Dave and I met last week with Jim and Marc Hendry at Larry's house and
we will be meeting again in a few days. We will do everything we can
to continue the Stooge tradition. We appreciate your understanding
and support.

Paul and Dave

Thank you for continuing these projects. I'm sure that Dave is still
dealing with the loss and that every question and every e-mail
regarding a pending order still has a certain sting. So we really
appreciate the effort that you are making!

There was a little known Stooge Joe (1956-1958) :)

Joe Besser replaced Shemp Howard after he passed away in 1955. Here's the
'other' Stooge website http://www.threestooges.com/bios/

Thank you Paul for stepping up!!!
