But will there be an MOTM version?: <http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1468&item=5596708699&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW> -- Terry Bowman, KA4HJH "The Mac Doctor"

Notice the standard flat rate shipping ! But only within US ... Does this mean that thing *walks* to its new owner? Never mind obstacles on its way there: "2x flame throwers, one on each arm" 8-) JH. ----- Original Message ----- From: "KA4HJH" <ka4hjh@...> To: <motm@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 7:39 AM Subject: [motm] Utterly OT: must-have gadget > But will there be an MOTM version?: > > <http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1468&item=5596708699 &rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW>

Suddenly, my aspirations for world domination seem utterly pedestrian. (Mental notes - pester Paul for '960's, finish second side cabinet, order more modules...) How 'bout an opportunity to use a microphone and preamp, there is no way that thing is quiet, there has got to all kinds of "industrial" noise. I'd worry more about trying to fit him (or her) into my home studio. Or worse if I had to ask him to leave a band. --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, Greg Amann <greg.amann@s...> wrote:

You *must* go to this guy's website and watch the videos! It makes a noise all right - the continous drone of an 18hp Briggs & Stratton. The flamethrowers are more like little torches. They produce a bright blue flame, maybe a foot and a half long. The movement video is best described by the builder as "a short but sure step". Yes, it moved one foot pod about two feet forward. You wouldn't have to worry about running from it if insulted.
