Bob Moog's Health

Bob Moog's Health

2005-07-05 by Dana Countryman

Hi Everyone,

I'm not on this newsgroup, too much, but I thought you'd like to hear
this.
I'm afraid I have some bad news. Bob Moog has been diagnosed with a
brain tumor, and is currently undergoing treatment. He is bed-ridden,
and reportedly in fairly good spirits, given his situation.

I've known about Mr. Moog's condition for about a month, but was
sworn to secrecy about it. I kept watching this newsgroup, to see if
news about it eventually leaked here, but as far as I know, it hasn't.

Now, his family has gone public about it, and has set up an
informational web page about Bob's condition and prognosis. There is
also a guest book, where people can leave messages of support.

The page is at:

http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bobmoog

I'm sure Mr. Moog would be delighted if as many of you as possible
were able to leave some words of support in the guestbook.

Best,

- Dana Countryman

This really sucks! I've posted a message to Dr. Bob at this site and I
encourage everyone to do the same.

We would none of us be here doing this if not for him.

Well, the Moog family's web site is suddenly off-limits to the
public, so if you'd care to send a get-well card to Bob Moog, I'd
suggest sending it to

Bob Moog

The site is back online, open to the public. Dr. Moog decided to leave
it as it was (see comment there).

   Michael.
