Self-promotional moment: if you're looking for popular music that - 
does- have some musical sense behind it, but is squarely pop/rock,  
please go to your local record store (or look online) and buy the  
album by The Duke, called "My Kung-Fu Is Good". I played most of the  
keyboards (mainly piano, wurly, some synths) on it. It's on Eagle  
Rock records.
