[motm] Synthesized human vocal/chorus demos - mp3

2005-05-21 by elhardt@att.net

These I posted these many months ago on AH so some of you may have already heard them, but realized I should have posted here too with all this talk about imitative synthesis. I'll get to the wooden record / patch of the week thread tomorrow as I need to get to bed. BTW, I got an e-mail from Gordon Reid (SOS Synth Secrets author) complimenting me on my excellent synthesis on these. I hadn't seen him on these lists in a couple years or more, so I was surprised to hear from him. On AH there was talk that people were pushing him/SOS into grouping his Synth Secrets series into a book.

Heavenly female voice without vibrato synthesized on the motm modular synthesizer ontop of a recording of a real string orchestra recording and a couple of Doepfer synthesized male bass voices. Best if heard through high quality headphones.

Full male/female Tomita mellotron-like chorus, male voices Doepfer, female MOTM. The individual voices were clearer before all being combined. I'm still working on better clarity and realism.
