Time Machine for MOTM in May

2005-02-18 by Jeff Laity

I didn't notice this mentioned on the list: Blacet will be shipping a
MOTM-format Time Machine kit in May. Sweet!

In the past, 'MOTM-Format' meant no pots and no front panel; is John now
actually going to be bundling an MOTM-style front panel, etc?

Yep... I bought a StonZ MOTM kit from him, and it came with everything...

Yes, this is the second *fully complete* MOTM style kit with all the
gorgeous and expensive parts that MOTM users have come to expect! One
stop shopping; no more scrounging for parts or waiting for those rare
runs of (wonderful) Stooge panels.

Yep. Stooges officially cut out of the profit chain.
Nice bracket design BTW.

Heh. You're probably gonna get more of my money as time goes on Larry ;)
Here's a stooge product I wouldn't mind seeing...

I spent a couple hundred chasing down parts and pieces today for an
"analog circuit starter kit". Cap sets, opamps of various flavors, etc,
etc. It would have been swell to be able to purchase a starter "kit" of
somesort. I know, kind of a non-specific request.

Anyway, I'm rambling.

No doubt. I seem to get a little from everyone. :-) I guess the kids can
still eat even if I lose some bracket sales. :-)

That might be nice. I'm afraid that will have to be some other Stooge. I'm
in too deep as it is.

Of course this might be a good time to just say thanks to everyone who buys
our Stooge stuff. Rumor has it that Stooge Moe upgraded his motorcycle to a
newer model with his last paycheck. <snicker>

Is there a photo of the Blacet MOTM style Time Machine? Is it different
from the Stooge panel? I'm just curious. My second Time Machine (with
Stooge panel) is still waiting for me to assemble it.

I just dropped a couple hundred also, ordering parts for the Neural Agonizer and
such, and I've converted a couple of Blacet modules in the past (unfortuntately, before
John convertered to MOTM). By the time you get done with the shopping, you tend to
aquire a well rounded parts collection.

Keep on keeping on!

Nice! More toys. :)

John, what is the quality of the paint on the panel? Is it
like MOTM/Stooge, or more like Schaeffer?

Our paint shop appears to have matched the MOTM exactly!
