Banana jacks have only one contact; banana cables have only one conductor in them. The 'ground wire/connection' is basically handled at one point in the circuit, and not brought out to every jack. Can it be converted? Sure, but it's not a one-for-one jack swap-out. _____

That was my feeling as well but there seems to be a jack spacing issue
with the Analogics-acs quantizer that would make it mechanically
difficult.
