New Robert Rich Seq
2004-07-29 by Paul Schreiber
It's on the NEWS page at www.synthtech.com
It's on the soft side, crank up the volume. Basic 4-part sequence using a
MOTM-650 prototype MIDI-CV converter (notes and Velocity outs used). The 4 parts
are of prime number lengths (13, 23, 31 and 47 notes) and the patches are simple
PWM'd VCO>>VCF>>VCA. The PWM signals are at audio rates and 'warbled' by '101
SLOW output. There is a delay on the upper voice in a 3:2 ratio against the
tempo of the tenor voice, and the whole mix has a dab of M3000 reverb.
And I too am saddened by John Mitchell's accidental death. That's *3* people I
have known personally killed on these ATVs. I hope I never have to use one.
John would call this piece "typical MOTM porn soundtrack rubbish", but smiling
while typing.
