New prices Sunday

New prices Sunday

2004-06-13 by Paul Schreiber

I have to travel to El Paso Sun PM/Monday, but before I leave I'll have an Excel
sheet with the new prices. I'm going to sleep on it and post around 11:30AM
Sunday (well, here it is ALREADY Sunday).

All I ask is no endless discussions on "is it worth it" or such. If *you* think
so, fine. If you are forced to go elsewhere, so be it. If you want to holler in
person, please do so (email or call me evenings). Just keep it OFF THE LIST.

I'm putting the MOTM-450 Filter Bank "on indefinite hold" right now, as there
has not been enough pre-orders to break even. No money has exchanged hands, I'm
out ~$400 on the prototypes :( If I get 10 more orders, at the current price,
I'll make it.

Rats, this is one module that cries for the MOTM treatment just so we can
get a nice low noise design. Do some of us need to preorder two to bring
the quantities up? I can see this being very useful in stereo.

Yes, I ordered two when they were first announced... I hope some
more folks will do the same!

I'm not doing enough Surround work to justify 5 or more just yet. :)

Got my fingers crossed...
