Hat suggestion

2003-11-20 by Robert van der Kamp

This is all very important. ;)

I own a Synthesis Technology hat (of course), but imo it
doesn't do the job well.

What I need is a hat saying 'MOTM' in large fat print (with
maybe 'Synthesis Technology' in small print above or below
it).

And I could use some other colors as well (dark and bright
blue, bright red), but my biggest wish is that it shouts
MOTM.

If anybody want's to submit alternative hat or tee shirt designs, please do so! The files need to
be 1:1 for the hat and 1:2 for the shirt. File formats accepted:

Corel Draw, WMF (Windows MetaFile)

I think the MOTM hat should have real knobs and switchcraft jacks stitched into it.

To the 440 people.. Yes this is a nice filter. But wait until you hear the 480 before you
start making any "favorite filter ever" lists. Not kidding.

Heard it, and it is very nice, indeed! I said the 440 was 'probably'
my favorite because it kinda depends on my mood. Sometimes the 490
really floats my boat and the 420 is *always* good for timbre
manglement. The 480 is a great filter in great company.

Paul asked where I would rank the 480 and that was a very hard
question. It's a matter of micrometer separation and the list I gave
him would be different today.

Don't even get me started on the 410...

Put the jacks around the perimeter of the hat so you can plug patch
cords in and let them dangle like dreadlocks.

and if you have multiple "Stooge Colored" cables you'll look like Funk
Master George Clinton!!!! ROTFLMAO !!!!

Put the jacks around the perimeter of the hat so you can plug patch
cords in and let them dangle like dreadlocks.

"...let them dangle like dreadlocks."

careful now! - you could put an eye out with that setup - then we'd
have OSHA on our backs...something I think the DIY community is
mostly free of. (at least until I get MY synth done ;)

Happy Friday Everyone!

This thread is going south fast...oh, well!

If you're going to add jacks to the MOTM hat, you might as well go all
out and add circuitry into the hat for biofeedback modulation of
control voltages.

Keyboards, theremins, Circons....who needs them? With a MOTM
Frankenhat, you could control synths with MIND POWER.

One possible concern with this design is that diodes may needed to
regulate the control signals, so that the synths don't start
controlling our minds.

At least, not more than they do now!
