Sneak peek: MOTM-480

Sneak peek: MOTM-480

2003-09-29 by Paul Schreiber

Just finished the "rough draft" layout of the MOTM-480 pc board. I need to make it "pretty",
which is moving the silkscreen reference numbers around some and some alignment issues (I like
things nice on grid, if you haven't noticed).

Here is a JPG screen capture off my CAD system of the pc board showing the top copper ground
plane poured. You don't see much of the bottom traces (in green), but they are all there (about
75% of the connections are on the bottom side).

I need a nap! This thing has the most parts AND connections of any module to date. I probably
spent about 35 hours on it so far.

Oh man - I'm lookin forward to this one! Hmmm, are those pairs of
thermally-coupled trannys I see at Q3/Q4 and Q5/Q6?

He said 'trannys' Scott, not 'Grannys'...
