I knew it. I knew it. There are more "oldish" guys out there than it
first appears. Wollensak? Heck, my mom had one of those when I was in
grade school (and I am no spring chicken). My faith is restored that old
synth players never die, their envelopes just decay. Good to hear from you
Bill. :)

I love your "never die" slogan! Ha!

It would be interesting to see a demographic chart of MOTM owners-ages,
geography, etc. But I guess some would see it as an invasion of privacy.

There's a thread on this topic in the archives, I forget how long ago ...
I made the mistake of asking list members how old they were :)
(I'm 23, for what it's worth - dropped out of grad school and got my
first "real job" just this summer - I'll probably have the email until
MIT's math department remembers I exist, which ought to take about five
years. I moved back near U of Chicago where I went to college, and now
work for SPSS in the Loop writing statistical software, at least until
they figure out that I don't actually know anything...)

peace,
Chris

In a message dated 99-10-25 14:44:04 EDT, you write:

i used to have a pair of these back in the early 70`s. modified them to have
variable bias, record and erase currents and used them as "modifiers" in
their own right. gee, i miss those days......... :^)
