MOTM-950 manual

2003-07-08 by Paul Schreiber

Please help proofread the MOTM-950 manual:

www.synthtech.com/misc/motm950.pdf

It's a little big (1.4MB) because I added a hi-res color picture of the Pomona clip lead set
REQUIRED to calibrate the power supply.

You will also notice my extreme, over-the-top warnings about adjusting the supply.

Damn! I wish I ordered that cool looking Pomona grabber lead -- I already
ordered one that has individual leads.

Anyway...

So you can power about 19-20 modules total? As long as there are:

1) no more than 11 of the 4 pin modules

AND

2) no more than 8 of the 6 pin modules

I didn't see any problems with the manual, but it was a bit difficult to
follow without a 950 kit to check against it.

Note: the two sections I quote from below are close but not in complete
agreement about the number of modules which can be powered. (I say split the
difference and say no more than 7 of the 6 pin and no more than 11 of the four pin.
Stay lucky -- 7 * 11)

From the top of page 3.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The supply can power approximately 11 4-pin modules and 8 6-pin
modules. An expansion connector board, the MOTM-990, is available for
attaching
additional modules.

The last paragraph of page 12.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------
This power supply can power BOTH 4-pin modules AND newer 500/600 Series
modules
at the same time. Just remember, the MOTM-950 can ONLY power about 12 4-pin
modules maximum. It can power 6 to 8 500/600 Series 6-pin modules as well.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
