I got one of these boards a while ago but was so blown away by how good it
looked I haven't been able to think of anything to do with it that's worthy
of MOTM -- it's just too much board for a couple of TL072s IMO. Let me know
what you do with yours (i.e., if you do something stupid, then I won't be the
first).

Do you mean it wouldn't be the first time Stooge Larry had done something
stupid? HAHA... You would of course be right. :) Yes, I actually do
have plans for it and maybe a second one. Yes, some of it will be plain
old TL072s or something equally as bland. I thought it would be nice to
have a few pre-amps configured as inverters with variable gain, down to
unity for just plain old inverting. And, I saw a neat idea on Tom Henry's
page to use a dual op amp to take a unbalanced in and give a balanced out
(for that send to the main PA board when my MOTM makes it to a gig... wish
wish). I though that might be cool.

The only serious thing I will be doing is a dual (maybe quad) VCA. I have
the SSM2012s needed and will keep spares since they are now obsolete. Paul
wouldn't use this part as it is obsolete (and of course I appreciate that).
But, I can since it will be a one-off. And, since the chip does most the
work, it "ought" to be simple enough for a non-engineer like me. However,
I can see I have questions already, so you may see a few "newbie designer
pleading for help" posts on the synth-diy list before I am done.
