That could be because people know UPS ground won't be able to destroy 
post or caps, but they could destroy a computer.

I finally found out why UPS Ground (which used to be great) is now so 
destructive. It seems that they have replaced nearly all human 
handling of packages with machines. According to a person who works 
for them, packages are moved along with *toothed wheels*. This 
explanes why so many packages arrive with rips and gashes.
