MOTM

A long while back I posted a picture of me testing out textured paint as a 
possible Tolex/vinyl replacement. I finally found need for its use on a small 
satellite case to hold a small overflow of modules that wouldn't fit into my 
big case. Since trying to apply vinyl to something with such an odd shape and 
small size would have been a sloppy mess, the paint worked well.

Picture posted in the motm yahoogroups file section for those interested. 
Filename is satellite_case.jpg. In the photo the paint looks too shiney because 
of the lighting. In person it looks better. I used Semi-Flat black paint over 
the textured paint, which is somewhere between flat and semi-gloss. Texture 
paint is Krylon "Make It Stone" series.
