da 410 kicks!

da 410 kicks!

i have completed it, been fortunate enough to need no troubleshooting. i
have filtered a JP6 pad through it (ok). THEN sent sampled hiphop drum
loops through it, using the MOTM-100 S&H to alternately drive the 410's
sweep, rate and depth (*WOW*) and i am impressed!! thank you so much paul,
this thing is making my sounds talk! especially the drums

Thanks Mark!

Here, he is "thinking like a modular"! You got these CV ins, on module A,
and these CV outs from module B...Hmmmm.....

This is a *prime* example why modulars kick butt. Especially MOTM.

And Dave "Mr. Rosewood" Trenkel just emailed 4 killer MP3 '410 demos.
I'll upload in about 2 hours and notify the list. Wait 'til you hear a
cheesy DX-7
patch go in stereo using the individual outs & panning as described in the
User's Guide.

Mark: send me audio!!

I like to stick S&H into everything just to see how it goes. I am wanting
a signal inverter so I can stick S&H in one spot and 180 degrees out S&H
someplace else.

"Mr. Rosewood"? Well, I guess the 410's giving me a woody, but I didn't
think it was that obvious...

Yeah, I think one of the coolest things about the 410 is the stereo-izing
feature. It's funny, last night when I finished the 410 and plugged it in,
my first impression was, "Yeah, that's a cool sound, but kinda limited."
Felt it was a kind of one-trick pony of a filter, not a real
general-purpose unit like the 420. Today, however, playing with the stereo
stuff and different CV's, I'mm seeing it's a much deeper filter than I'd
originally thought! Another thoroughly cool module, good work, Paul!

together - dum, dum, dum, dum - fire, cosmic fire."
