While you're at the site, check out the Softstep and Bankstep software
sequencers, based upon analog sequencers.

Even cooler, it appears you can modify the excel file and add graphics
files for your DIY or third party modules.

Which is good, because there isn't a 900 (power supply) module! Oops!

Not to mention third party modules, conversions and DIY. I was able to
add the power supply and now will try some others.

John,

Very fun! I'm trying to add my numerous Stooge and SuperMoe modules
to the library, but seem to be doing something wrong.

I added a line to the excel file describing my 8U SuperMoe voltage
source module, and it shows up in the menu. I added identically sized
pics in the large and small image dirs, sized to 179 px tall (same as
the others). However when I drop the module into the layout, I get a
1U all black image (it looks like the 1U blank image). I named the
pics m1024.gif, and the part# field in the spreadsheet is '1024'.

What am I doing wrong?

All graphics should be named mxxxxlarge.gif, in both the small and large
directories, where xxxx = the numeric or letter designators.

Also, you need to fill in the spaces column on the spreadsheet. 1U wide
= 1, 2U wide = 2, etc.

Yup, I figured that out after my last post. Works great now!

I want to give a BIG shout out to John for this layout tool. I've had
a couple days off from work, and could hardly tear myself away from
the computer until I had the Synth of Doom mapped into this puppy. I
still have a couple of my own designs to finish (yes, I have plans
for them thar blank spaces), but here are a couple of examples of
what you can do:

Very nice! Fun way to make an order: "Paul, I'd like one of
these." ;)

What are those large modules in the left cab? They look like
sequencers.

Yep. That is a portion of the notorious SuperMoe sequencer.

So this stuff actually exist? Always thought this was still
in development state (and rather long at that ;).

Ow! Yes, things are proceeding glacially, hence the "notorious"
