Has anybody done this? What are you answering on the last page, since it
seems to assume (require) that you are the professor of... something...?

There was some discussion recently about Allen Strange's
book, "Electronic Music: Systems, Techniques, and Controls".

You can get a complimentary, as in FREE, copy from McGraw's Primis
Online website. It looks like they are distributing classic, out-of-
print texts for free in order to encourage people to consider them
for use in education.

So get educating!

Here's the link:
http://www.mhhe.com/primis/catalog/pcatalog/D30-1.htm

You have to navigate to Strange's book, and then add the sections
that you want to have in your customized copy. You even get to make
up your own cover page. Pretty cool!

I selected the "other" option, and then filled out the required fields.

They sent me a bound xeroxed copy - very nice!

You can also create an ebook that you can download & (I assume) print out.

It's a very nice service, and seems to me like a good way for them to promote their older scholarly works.
