Oh, yeah --- I really meant to mention Jon Hassell's "Power Spot," two.
Weird, rhythmic, 'electronic world' music. The first time I heard the
opening track of Power Spot my ears just couldn't wrap themselves around
what they were hearing, it was so unusual.

BTW, for the Eno ambient crowd let me recommend Jon Hassell -- especially
his "Fourth World vol. 1 Possible Musics" with Brian Eno. Really great
music!
