yep, it's the same standard originally designed for military /
telecommunications - it's probably an early NATO protocol.
we didn't decimalise until the early seventies, we still work in both
systems - the trick is not to get them mixed up ;-)
by the way, on the 50% discount front, if i've started with my own personal
system (can't wait) but would like to get a couple of the processing modules
for the studio where i work - does this count as an introduction..?

my cat, curtis, wishes to buy several modules. since he has trouble typing,
i am sending you this email. curtis wishes to buy a 420, a 410, and an LFO.
and since curtis does not have a credit card, i have generously allowed him
the use of my credit card. please send the previous post haste. he would
also like to know if you intend to make a "string ball" controller or
"scratching post" controller. something that would go +/- 5 preferred.

Hey, if he gets by with the cat, then I must insist that my wife counts.
After all, at least she can solder. So far, I have not been able to get my
cat to put together a good joint. He gets to swatting at the solder like
its string and makes a total mess.

nevermind - i had to check (but getting the human league in the studio next
door up for it is a kosher one - yes..?)
as for elliott & rosencat, they're far too busy with the weather machine
they've built in the cellar to get into modular synthesis. anyway -
elliott's an un-neutered tom so he's banned from the studio :-(
anyone fancy a modular synths & cat owners list..? (joke)
