Washer JACKPOT
1999-10-09 by J. Larry Hendry
I hit the washer jackpot today thanks to Terry. He suggested I go to Sears
hardware and I finally made it there today. Their selection of specialty
hardware was great, and I have looked 5 other places.
I found both the # 8 and # 10 black washers I was looking for. AND, here
is the BIG one. I know I promised I would never use "colored washers" in
the subject line, but here it goes anyway.
While going through the nylon washers at Sears I found nylon washers
EXACTLY the same size as the metal ring around the Switchcraft 112 jacks.
I have found some before with the same inside diameter hole, but they were
always TOO large diameter on the outside. These I just found are a perfect
fit. And, the nylon washers are much easier to color than the metal ones.
If anyone wants details let me know.
