Show pity on my poor soul

2003-01-07 by buddyboy11211 <dowk@earthlink.net>

Hello friends,

I have a nice motm modular, 14 modules, but I have no keyboard controller. I need one. What is
the ABSOLUTE CHEAPEST way to get a cv gate keyboard hooked up? I am a poor new
york boy with NO expendable income. ( I was doing well until the UNPLEASANTNESS...)
Help a brother out. What is the cheapest keyboard?

Love and happiness,

D.

Well, one of these:

http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem.asp?ItemID=21554&TempID=1&Method=2&Ca
tegoryID=0&BrandID=0&PriceRangeID=0&PageNum=0&DepartmentID=0&DepartmentKeepe
r=&pagesize=15&SortMethod=0&Word1=studiologic&Contains=%22%2Astudiologic%2A%
22&Search_Type=SEARCH&GroupCode=nonetodaythanks

Sorry for the long link.

And a Kenton Pro Solo or one of the older JB Cooper units.

Your probably looking at about $350 together for new stuff, cheaper if you
can eBay it. The dotcom keyboard controller is a good buy at $390, but the
keyboard action is less than stellar.

Maybe a Kenton Pro Solo + the little $89 StudioLogic MIDI out 3 1/2 octave keyboard.

This is like a $200 solution. The only way under $200 is to find an old used synth with CV/Gate
out, like a SH-101.
