I finished the prototyping pc board today, and it's in fab. Now that I have an idea on the Bill of Material (BOM), the selling price (assembled) is going to be $419 on the low end and $449 on the high end. I tried to get $399, but the electo-mechanical costs are too great (encoder, display, switches, etc). However, theses parts are really high quality. I just can't bring myself to use cheap-o stuff. It's a sickness. The 10 switches/LED plus the encoder and nice knob + front panel are $75 my cost. Add the jacks +LEDs/bezels + pc board/bracket, up to almost $110 with NO circuitry. Yikes! Paul S.
