Has anyone ever tried to get pricing from a company 
that does laser cutting  for panels

There was a bunch of places that did short runs when 
i used to make knives, Admiral Steel was one of them 
they have a website

I'll try to get the names of the other places if your interested in 
getting more price quotes for panels.

Can someone tell me if Blacet and Synthtech panels are the 
same thickness?  The MOTM is 1/8"?

Nope. The Blacet panels are quite a bit thinner.
