What happened to the vote (poll) results on this one? I could have sworn the
standard formatted panel won the popularity poll. just curious

Thomas "Back Burner" White

PS. Heres a new vote... How many current MOTM customers wish they had more
money for modules since all this new stuff is coming out? 1 vote for "Me"

I meant all the pots no lower than four rows down and jacks on the bottom
etc. you know, like every other module in the line up JK HA! I do remember
some controversy surrounding one side of the group wanting it one way and
the other tragically opposite

"Poll" values are here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/motm/surveys?id=900259

However, I find the front panel layout at
http://www.synthtech.com/misc/m450.jpg
to be much easier to navigate and than the one at
http://www.hotrodmotm.com/images/motm/m-450_3U_3row1.jpg

Speaking to the differences between the "two columns of five pots"
versus "3 columns" layout, notice that since that poll Paul has added
an extra pot, for MIX. That would be almost impossible to fit into
the "3 columns" scheme we were thinking about back then.

The current arrangement of bands (left to right, top to bottom)
mirrors the Moog filter banks.

In my opinion, this layout looks the best so far. And the bypass and mix
controls are icing on the proverbial cake.
