You guys (and gals) want to see something sad?

I just "helped" dump the remains of the Seasound digital audio systems in
the dump.

There were dozens of Seasound products that were incomplete or something was
broken, etc.

I told my wife about it and she was saddened too.

What the hell?  And it didn't occur to inform anybody ahead of time to take 
them for the parts.  Even an ebay auction might yield a little cash and a 
useful home.  I hate waste.  Most of my college digital projects were made 
from parts from a couple of Autologic terminals that were headed for the 
dumpster.  There were many hundreds of perfectly good and socketed TTL chips 
in those things.  Unfortunately only 2 out of about 6 terminals were saved 
from the trash.
