410 triple res LFO question

410 triple res LFO question

2002-04-01 by Inform3r

Is the 410 Triple RES supposed to be able to sweep itself similar to the
way a typical LFO would? I've troubleshot my 410 a million times but I cant
find any faults. It sweeps great when I plug the 320 LFO into it. But its a
waste to have a LFO do the job if the 410 is supposed to do it itself. So
basically I'm wondering if indeed the built in LFOs on the 410 are supposed
to sweep in a conventional "swirling" filter type of way.

                Thanks,
                John

 Yes they are...all three of them should. Here's a long shot...If you're
using the Mix Out, make sure that the Mix pot is set to Wet.

John -

The 410 has two built-in LFOs that sweep the three filters. In SINGLE
mode, ONE LFO is used to sweep the three filters together. In DUAL
mode, TWO LFOs are used, the second one being at a slightly different
rate than the first, giving you a more complex sweep. In DUAL mode,
each filter is swept independently, one by the 1st LFO, the second by
the second LFO, and the third by the second LFO inverted. Very cool!

I usually connect all four outputs to my console. The MIX OUT is at
center, the OUT1 is panned hard left, the OUT 2 is center, and the
OUT 3 is panned hard right. Particularly in DUAL mode, this gives
some very nice stereo effects.

If you're not sweeping, something is very probably wrong with the
module.
