[motm] Case picts, Back & Inside

[motm] Case picts, Back & Inside

2001-12-26 by elhardt@aol.com

Way back when I posted pictures of my custom built MOTM cases I had a lot of
people ask me what I did about the back of them. So I've uploaded a couple
of pictures at the links below.

The first picture is just a test shot I did for the Blacet synth photo
contest so those who haven't seen them from the front can. I never entered
this one because what I really wanted to do was drag it all out to a stage at
a park near me, take multiple shots, composite them, creating the largest
monster MOTM system ever. I just didn't have time.

The second picture shows four picts of the back and inside. When I first
built them, they looked nice and clean, but since I had less than 1/4" to
wrap the tolex around the back, it eventually became unstuck so I had to hit
it with a staple gun. That's why it's a little sloppy looking around the
edges. The next case I build, I'll move the entire back inward by another
1/2 to 1" now that I know I have the room to do so.

dividers between the modules?<<

I'm using 3/32" wide, white color tape by Carl Goldberg Models, Inc. I
bought it in a hobby shop and it's normally used on remote control airplanes
/ gliders.
