xmas tips

xmas tips

2001-12-20 by sikorsky

hello all,
it's that time of year... ...as the week draws to a close, a&r admin types
in london become unobtainable, urgent packages undeliverable, and cheques
are almost certainly not 'in the post' - so it's time to reflect, and here
are this year's top xmas tips:

1) why buy expensive ribbon to put that finishing touch to presents when two
inch leader tape is far superior

2) save on presents by raiding the merchandising left-overs from the band
next door just back off the road

3) gain extra synth hours over xmas by trying to get 'that elusive sleigh
bells patch' (alesis dm5 owners had better hope their spouse doesn't know
where the patch chart is)

4) erm, anymore tips anyone..?

cheers

4) Tell your significant other that you need to practice soldering a
LOT, so that when they get you get new iron they promised back in June,
you'll be ready for it.

5) Recycle Paul S.'s popcorn box stuffing for your own gift boxes (doing
that this year).

--PBr, appologizing to paul b for getting this twice-- darn "reply to"
field...

Hit reply all, then simply delete the persons name from the "to" field. :)

It is better than accidentally having private mail scattered across the
list. Like, I might accidentally ask Moe how he is going to spend his $1
million we made on panels. Then everyone might get the idea the price is
too high. Better some things are kept secret. And if you believe that, I
have some land I might want to sell you. <snicker>
