Wow, another module in the works. For NAMM??

Huh?? Here's my guesses after consulting my secret decoder ring:

input #1 for CV, GAIN pot is -5 to 5
input #2 for CV, unity gain
input #3 for audio, GAIN pot is 0 to 10
input #4 for audio, GAIN pot is 0 to 10
input #5 for audio, unity gain

Or:

CH1 input #1 audio-left, input #2 audio-right, GAIN pot is 0 to 10
CH2 input #3 audio-left, input #4 audio-right, GAIN pot is 0 to 10
input #5 for CV, GAIN pot is -5 to 5

In any case, a 1U mixer sounds great. I'm just hoping it's not audio-only.

Yes, there are 6 MicroModules (tm) in the works right now. I remains to be seen what I get done
for NAMM. Getting the badges sorted out took 1hr on the phone and 4 faxes. Sheesh. I'm afraid to
call the furniture contractor.

It has 3 pots:

Gain 1/2
Gain 3/4
Gain 5

and 6 jacks

In 1 and In 2
In 3 and In 4
In 5

Out

For In 1/2 and In 3/4, the inputs are SUMMED FIRST, then passed to the GAIN pot. All 3 Gains are
'regular' (not reversing). This makes it SIMPLE and CHEAPER, which is the point ("But I can get 7
D*****r VCAs for $100!!). In 5 has it's own Gain.

This is a variant of the MOTM-850, but like a $79 kit. Heck, I *might* be able to do $69, I'll
see.

Only question: all log pots/all linear/some mix?

h3y paul,

do we get at least hints as to the other 4?? due to recent
allusions of multiple VCA's to be released next year, i am guessin'
that may account for 1. ring mod, perhaps??

OK Paul. Don't keep us playing the guessing game. Tell us about the 1U
uMixer. You know that nothing generates more feature discussion than a
mixer. Well.... Maybe a sequencer would, but that's another subject

Not to throw a monkey wrench into this, but I think having the pots for
1/2 and 3/4 being mix level, in other words, crossfade between 1 & 2 and
3 & 4, could be more useful.
