The controls are marked "Attack", "Hold", "Decay" and "Off" (I may be remembering the last one wrong. My EMS is packed away at the moment. The first 3 do what you expect them to, whilst the last one retriggers the EG at a faster and faster rate as you turn it round. It's a realy useful little function actually, and a MOTM equivalent of it (the four controls plus sockets - gate, trigger, envelope out and trigger out, perhaps?) would be a good one to have in your system. I believe Analogue Systems were going to release a clone of it as part of their range, but the number assigned now points at their bode freq shifter clone. -- Norman Fay
