i'd love one if that's okay - i've got too much on my plate at the moment to
have the time to work it out myself
for instance the 2U interface panel has 28 jacks on it and that's the
thinned down version !!!

hmm, a large quantity of cats escaping from a poorly secured bag springs to
mind

Since the cat is out of the bag... 2 things to look forward to:

1. If Pizza Hut made one of these, it would be called LED lovers.
The prototype will have 17 LEDs the size of the ones on the Miniwave.
LED lovers lobby Paul if you want to keep that many. No more than
two will be lit at once.

2. While designed for the IBM pot size, it will work without modification
with ANY pot size. So, you DIY hackers can use any old surplus joystick
you happen to like.

Did I mention 17 LEDs ?
