OT:polyfusion hipass filter...

2001-10-12 by doc@trocarrecords.com

h3y all,
anyone know anythin' about the polyfusion hipass filter??
i just finished buildin' one this week. in my general ignorance of
electronics i am assuming it is a 4-pole filter as it has 4 stages.
i doubled the number of stages an' gave it outputs at stage 4 and
stage 8. after starin' at the the schematic for the 420 a spell, i
worked out how to incorporate a reversin' attenuator input as well as
a simple attenuating input for cv.
i was lookin' for a hipass with a different flavour than the 420,
an' the polyfusion was the only schematic i have run across. the
sound is a little dirty, but in a nice way. i rather like it
overall... lotta fun patchin' S&H with a medium slew rate into FM1.
thanks,
doc

Congrats Doc. Adding a little DIY to MOTM can be fun.
This does illustrate a point I like to bring up now and then.
This is more than a synth project. It is an education. Thanks
to Paul for helping it to be that way.
