motm 120 question/problem

I was just using my suboctave multiplexer today and I found that the "B"
input doesn't produce suboctaves when I turn the Sub 1/2/3/4 knobs, although
if it's set to "square" it still squares the input signal. Channel A is 100%
functional. If I'm not mistaken both channels should be able to have sub
octaves added to them. Is it normal for channel B to not add suboctaves? If
it isn't please give me suggestions.
