Uploaded a picture of Robert Rich and his MOTM system. Hmmm...what is that interesting box stuck in the rack??!? See: www.synthtech.com/pix note you have to go there 'directly', it's not linked off the site. And, if you want your ugly mug up there for all to see as well, send me a pix PRIVATELY. All I ask is that the file be less than 60K. Paul S.

Do you mean the triv2a.jpg image? I'm conjuring up ideas of an Arp 2600 + Commodore 128. I'm pretty sure I'm deadly wrong though. -Bob

The TM-M is the rackmount kit which will work with either the TM-1 or TM-4. Read the fine print. It uses its own PSU. And it requires 20v p-p for the RM external carrier signal for maximum effect. What the hell outputs 20v p-p?!?!? This should be modified in the module to only require the much more standard 10v p-p, right? Check out the sound samples on the TM-1 page. I guess I would prefer a filter. In other words, a module version of the TS-22. P.S. Still unpacking from the move. Should be finished up in a week or two......

So are the 2 Metasonix boxes the MOTM Compatible modules you announced last week, Paul? 2nd Question: Is that an Oscilliscope up top? What make/model? I'd like to pick a scope up and space is a PREMIUM. http://www.synthtech.com/pix/rrich.jpg Thanks, JP

Hmm, I'm start wondering whether I should be concerned or not - Hans Zimmer testing MOTM. Please check Kevin (Synthfool) Lightners site to get an idea about the typical size of modulars Hans Zimmer is using - good for Paul's cash flow but anybody else might wait a life time for his very own modules ;-) Just joking - congrats to Paul for the attention he's getting ! I think Paul would have to hire a tech, or three, just to attend to his needs. Yes, Mr. Zimmer, 108 oscillators coming right up. On an unrelated note, would anyone with a Socket Rocket care to give a quick review of the new chip? A must have? A rainy day purchase? Not worth the shipping?

A must have for the ESQ waves alone. Then there's all the geek stuff like MARF discriminator (what the hell is that?). And of course Morse Code (!) and Prayer Wheels. Very good material for modulations as well as VCO... --- In motm@y..., Scott Juskiw <scott@t...> wrote: > At 8:31 PM +0100 2002/01/22, Gert Jalass wrote: > >Hmm, > > > >I'm start wondering whether I should be concerned or not - Hans Zimmer > >testing MOTM. > > > >Please check Kevin (Synthfool) Lightners site to get an idea about the > >typical size of modulars Hans Zimmer is using - good for Paul's cash flow > >but anybody else might wait a life time for his very own modules ;- ) > > > >Just joking - congrats to Paul for the attention he's getting ! > > I think Paul would have to hire a tech, or three, just to attend to > his needs.
