Powering an MOTM 410 (Solo)

Powering an MOTM 410 (Solo)

2001-07-20 by bruce@sigalarm.com

I have the need to power up an MOTM 410, or at least I am working on a
need! 8-) The only power I will have inside the case is +/- 12 Volts.
The thought had occured to come off the 18VAC transformer seocndary
and build another power supply to give me +/-15VDc, but it seems like
a lot of stuff, and maybe more heat than I wanted. The goal here is
to keep the case fairly small, but I think that having a 410 in this
thing would be really fun.

Any thoughts?

And in case you were wondering, nah, not a german modular, rather a
british 303 clone.

First thing to do is just ask Paul if it can be powered directly from
+/- 12V, and if there are any issues in doing so.
