Ideal 1, 2, 3, 4 Rack MOTM Systems
1999-08-15 by Tentochi
I am trying to design ideal, general systems which will fit into either 1, 2, 3 or 4/5/6 MOTM racks. These would be for people buying their first modular. Numbers may not quite add up especially in larger rigs. I am looking for feedback. I may have left off some upcoming modules, but I tried to remember what I could. I also tried to give comments for modules not in production yet. Here are my proposals: ***1 Rack (10U)*** (budget) 110 300 420 800 900 19A US_CORD Kenton Pro-Solo (optional) patch cables rack (optional) tutorial manual & CD ***2 Rack (20U)*** (standard) 100 120 1?0 (new dual VCA unit) 300 x2 320 420 800 x2 900 19A x2 US_CORD Kenton Pro Solo (optional) patch cables rack (optional) tutorial manual & CD ***3 Rack (30U)*** (advanced) 100 110 120 1?0 (dual VCA) 300 x3 320 410 420 440 800 x3 900 9?0 (new mult) 950 19A x3 US_CORD Kenton Pro-2000 (optional) patch cables rack (optional) tutorial manual & CD ***4/5 Rack (40/50U)*** (mother of all MOTMs) 100 110 120 1?0 (dual VCA) 300 x3 320 x2 410 420 x2 440 (2040 VCLPF) 4?0 (Oberheim) 4?0 (Moog Ladder LPF) 700 800 x3 900 9?0 (new mult) 940 950 MOAS (daughter of) 19A x4/x5 US_CORD Kenton Pro-4 (optional) patch cables rack (optional) tutorial manual & CD Note: While the other system configurations will remain stable, this one will be updated as new modules are added to the MOTM line-up. --Shemp
