Don't get me wrong, I love triangle waves for bass patches, but square and saw seem more useful for driving other modules. Anyway, the SHAPE knob seems to be labeled "SOU" and "SAW". <<<< In the original discussion (sorry, I don't know of an accurate search term), Paul stated that this VCO would be built around a different core - one which produced a triangle as its basic waveform. Hence, the dedicated triangle output. You may as well have a second VCO with potentially a slightly different sound for variety, eh? The other output is manually variable from SAW to SQUARE. >>>> What the heck is a "SOU"?? <<<< A Sou is a French gold coin, which was declared obsolete by Charlemagne. It was replaced by the Livre (worth 20 sous), and the Denier (worth 1/12 sou). Moe
